Bradley takes game one easily 7-0, game 2 Saturday aft.
Syc's really need to win the next 2 games. ISU 3-4 in the MVC now. BU 5-2

Walker took a perfect game into the 6th inning as the Braves won the second game, 8-1....

The series finale is tomorrow at 1....:braves:

I played with Walker way back in the day and knew he would be a special player. I'm glad to see him doing well, although it is Bradley...

Walker was the Illinois pitcher of the year out of high school. Big signing for Dewey at the time.

There were doubts surrounding him when he had his shoulder surgery a couple years ago, but he was named first-team All-MVC last year and is having a solid 2006 season with a 2.76 ERA.

The Braves go for the sweep against the Sycs at 1....:braves:

One of my fondest memories is when we hit back 2 back homers...although his traveled probably 20 feet further...

He was a good signing. He actually wasn't the best pitcher on our travel team then though. Not even close at that time, but he really got it going in his last few years of HS.

I dont think anyone saw this kind of start of the Braves coming. Very impressive indeed. I think they are the early favorites at this point.
