i watched all the valley games today and all offenses sucked. nerves got to all the teams it seemed. and to top the evening off i got to watch missouri state score 42 points for the game. that is normally a halftime score for the bears.
regardless, i am not sweating a bid in the dance. they had an rpi of 18 going in and even with the loss it'll still be in the low 20's. bears are still one of the sexiest midmajors right now.
Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Wichita State and a pickum for the last valley bid in the NCAA's.

I agree, almost every team looked flat today..., I think Creighton gets in...Bradley as well if they beat Wichita...

UNI, WSU, Bradley, and SIU get in. I hope MSU gets in, but I think the loss tonight will hurt their chances, even though the deserve to get in. It sucks, but that is what happens when the media labels us a Mid Major conference.

Although the most accurate site, realtimerpi has MSU dropping to 20. If they are low 20's, which they most likely will be, then there is no way that the committee won't take them. I don't see how SIU AND Bradley both get in before them.

WSU - in
UNI - in
MSU - in
CU - requires major planetary misalignment to not be in
SIU - may need to win automatic bid
BU - almost in with win over WSU. Bubbling heavy with loss to WSU
Seriously expecting 5 or 6 bids is probably foolish, but the Valley has the league and the teams where discussing 6 bids isn't foolish.
I remember when the Valley had multiple top-10 and top-20 teams. I don't recall the Valley ever having 6 top-40 teams.

Wins by SIU and BU today will make for an interesting week of "6 team discussion."

WSU - In
UNI - In
Bradley - In with a win today (Saturday)
SIU - In with a win today (Saturday), probably out otherwise
MSU - Needs SIU or BU to lose. High RPI (25 by the more accurate KenPom), but not the great resume that others have.
CU - First MVC team "out" if we only get 4 bids. Need help.

I couldn't agree more with you Newsbreaker. I believe this is the best analysis so far.

Definately. To add fuel to the proverbial fire, say they both do win and then Southern wins in a quadruple overtime game in the championship? Do we get 6 then?
