Indiana St. hosts UNI in the "battle for the mvc basement" this weekend. this fan hopes ISU can sweep and get back to .500 in the mvc

If 87 is the year you graduated from Indy St, then you were there when the Sycamores had some pretty good baseball teams.

That 1986 team in particular was very good.:valley:

the only time they went to the college world series was that year I believe
(86 or 87), don't recall, but know it was one of those years.

series tied at 1-1, uni and isu will battle it out for SOLE possession of last place in the mvc sunday at noon.

ISU wins game three 17-7 today, thus moving out of the mvc basement.

What is interesting is that both of these teams are within striking distance of the Valley title let alone just making the Valley tourney.
