I guess that is because they play in a shared stadium and do not have first choice for game times.

Man that sucks bigtime.

I love the noon Friday games. It gives me something to follow while I'm at work. I was excited when I found out it was a noon game today.

10-6 win isnt too shabby either.

Didn't know they ranked minor league ballparks.

I wonder where Wichita's Lawrence Dumont Stadium falls?

I was curious to know what kind of attendance the Bears draw on Fridays at noon.

I imagine some people take long lunch breaks or even take off at noon on Friday to catch the game.

I know Shocker fans that do that every year to catch at least some of the day time games during the Valley tourney.:valley:

How do those noon games help pay your rent to Saddam?
How much ticket and concession revenue is generated by every sitting at work listening to it on the radio?

It's nice to see that Shocker fans are still preoccupied with Bears Baseball. Fear and resentment are such strong forces in some lives.

Fear?

Fear of "Flash in The Pan" University?

Fear of a program which completely failed to cash in on a Sweet Sixteen in basketball and a CWS appearance?

Fear? Resentment? Of what?

Fear of a program that is something like 0-22 against WSU in baseball and men's basketball over the past several years?

Let me highlight one of your own fans' statements:
"I really thought the College World Series and Hammon's Field would make us an elite program but it sure hasn't worked out that way."

WSU fans should fear that sad reality you face?

There were around 700 fans at the game and with the Cardinals in town this weekend there probably won't be many more at the other games.

Beeline, out of respect for you, I'm taking that pitch.

To be exact, 624 Rabid Bare fans came out to watch.

624, that is pathetic! Even for a Friday at noon game.

624 won't pay the rent and it can't look good in a 8,000 seat stadium.

Neither can 7-2 SIU on Saturday night. Hammons field sounded like a morgue on the radio tonight.
