Digger spouts some BCS BS no prediction.
Consensus BU not as good as Seton Hall

of course, digger phelps picked seton hall over bradley in a bubble team comparison and picked kentucky over northern iowa, even though bilas busted his balls on how good northern iowa was and how it won at lsu when kentucky didn't.
bradley and uni's resumes were better than seton hall and kentucky. siu, mo. state and creighton all have better resumes than a number of bubble teams.
i'm becoming more convinced the valley gets 5.

Yep, they liked Kentucky's 3-8 record against the RPI Top 50 more than Northern Iowa's 8-6 record.
Makes sense...

Digger has had his sack in the sand ever since he left Notre Dame.
And Kelly Tripucka was the only thing that kept him from having his sack in the sand while he was there.

About the best thing that Digger did was not say anything when Bilas said the Valley should get 4 to 5 teams in.
He did say that Gonzaga, Memphis, and Bucknell need to win their tourneys.
Digger also didn't say anything when Bilas said the Valley was better than the Pac 10 and cusa.
Silence was the best thing coming out of Digger's mouth.

simply put, digger phelps is an *** pirate.
bilas, at least, has tried to clarify his position on the valley as we get closer to tournament time. he's still a semi-tool but he's giving the mvc props.

HOLY CRAP
Bilas just ripped into the BCS bubble teams for NON CONF SOS.
He might be moving of the tool bubble.
Of course digger said nothing after Jay's rant.

I didn't have a complaint about what each guy said. It's their opinion--everyone has one, you know! You gotta remember that Digger is an East-Coast guy. Notre Dame was as far West as he got in his basketball life, aside from the bi-annual trip to Pauley Pavilion. Whatever happens after March 12th, I want to see our 6 post-season teams make a good showing. Even if we get an 8-9 game in the first round, as long as we advance out of that and give a 1 or 2 seed fits in the second round, we will give this conference more credibility. Not only for this year, but for subsequent years. I liked the follow-up segment to the Valley talk, about how Florida State, UAB, and Texas A & M are not in yet. They cannot follow up their "one-hit wonders" with a loss today, or an early-round exit in their respective conference tournaments. Just because they might play in a BCS league, teams from those conferences realize that their opening round games are every bit as important as Friday's CU-BU and UNI-MSU matchups were in St. Louis.
