If a boost in recruiting from appearing in CWS hasn't kicked in yet, it aint going to happen.
The more time passes, the less of an impact that the Bears CWS appearance is going to have on recruiting.:valley:

IF we lose it will just be because our awesome new stadium and cws recruiting havent kicked in yet.
Once it does you will no longer win a single game against mo state.
The valley tourney will be in springfield every year.
blaa blaa
you know the rest....why do I have to repeat it all the time.

They are poised to strike and rip the heart out of the shocker nation.
It will be similar to that scene in Indiana Jones where that guy gets his still beating heart ripped out.

Meanwhile, the Shockers show their heart again.....as the Men's Golf Team holds off Drake by two strokes to win the MVC Golf Championship for the 6th time in 8 years.
I think the Bears finished in 5th place, Go-go....

How gay.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Here's a little tip for you G-SMS-G. If you want to do something better, you've got to improve the process.

Maybe it will inspire you to figure out a better way to remember to take your meds. No, no need to thank me......just sharing it out of concern.

Good job for Ms. State to win the Swimming and Diving Championship and the Womens BB Tourney.

any of you fools drive this morning???

I drove. And I damn near hit a biker that didn't have adequate lighting, yet insisted on riding off the sidewalk and in the street.
Then the idiot looked at me like it was my fault.

Sometimes this is called for, nothin' pisses me off more than bikers who bi'tch about sharing the road and then don't follow the same rules drivers must abide by. I constantly see bikers doing idiotic things (runnin' four-way stops etc.). If you want to ride on the big-boy track follow the damn rules.

Nothing pisses me off more than drivers. Everyday I see drivers running red lights, running stop sign, 90% of drivers drive above the speed limit, etc etc.
Noone ever says, "if drivers want me to feel like they have the right to the road then they should follow the damn rules."
I would say that 99% of drivers have broken some type of motor vehicle law TODAY.
I drive the SPEED Limit when I drive and i have this long line of cars behind me...you would think i was a damn train.
you have unbelievable arrogance.

I see I struck a nerve. The difference is when bikers don't follow the rules it is much more dangerous. For example, say a biker runs a four-way stop, a driver coming perpendicular to that biker could be following the rules (and be attentive) and still hit the biker. A car running the stop sign would be much more easily noticed (not blocked by other vehicles and such). People on bikes are MUCH harder to see, therefore their mistakes could be much more costly.

you're a fool.
So when I was riding 16 mph on a 1/10th of a mile campus road posted at 10 mph the other day and someone tried to pass me in a minivan, didnt have enough time so right before the stop sign they just jerked the van over, slammed on the brakes and ran me off the road.....
we both were breaking the rules...whos fault was it.
bottom line is that 99.9% of drivers act like they are in some kind of f'n nascar race and cannot stand to be forced to drive the speed limit.
How many times do I get passed a day by a motorist who then makes an immediate right turn? a helluva lot.
People see bikes and they think "must pass now!!!" they never stop to consider that I am going much faster than they think.
Your origional statement sounded to me like you didnt think bikes belonged on the road because some of them break the rules. I think you just notice it more when bikes break the rules because you are already annoyed that they are on the road to begin with.

g-sms-g, I won't participate in an argument with you over this.
I've seen it both ways, as a biker and a driver.
I try very hard to be a good citizen on the road, whether I'm riding or driving. I can't confess to knowing all of the rules.
My biggest pet peeve as a rider is a car that pulls out over a sidewalk and blocks a rider from forward progress.
But this particular biker had indeed run a red light, perpendicular, in front of me. He had no peripheral lighting on his bike, and I had the ROW. By all rights, I could have plowed his ***** over as I pulled out into the intersection to turn left. He was an extremely lucky SOB that morning.

I do not condone that behavior.
I do however am very tired of hearing, "I wouldnt mind bicycles on the road if they would follow the rules."
Because as I say no more than 5% of cars follow the rules of the road and noone says that about cars.
I dont want to be honked at or flipped off because someone I cannot control ran a red light.
BTW...many times a cyclists will have to run a red light because the weight of the bike sometimes isnt enough to change the signals. In other words sometimes I will be at a light for a couple of signal cycles and finally I just have to go.
I never however just blow through a red light.
