No knocks on WSU here, but I am a grad student at UNL, and have seen several games, they (UNL baseball) are really really good. Keep fighting for the Valley Shockers.

Holy cow. Watched most of the game. Shocks could not get to Klausing (sp?). No more than two or three balls out of the infield and no hits until a seeing eye grounder up the middle in the 6th or 7th. They finally bang one off the right field wall in the 8th and the guy trips and falls on his way to second base with what should have been a stand up double. Instead, he is tagged out trying to get back to first base. Pitchers couldn't find the strike zone. Opitz for UNL was hit three times, and how many runs were walked in, or got on base via a walk? I think UNL had 11 runs on 7 hits.
But, it was a miserable night in Lincoln (could see their breaths, kind of like that frozen tundra bud light commercial) and I don't think the Shuckers had their heads in the game.

Question, CU Fans.......why was the 'Jays game with Missouri cancelled last night? Did it rain or snow in KCK? I read that KU played SE Mo. State, with CU scheduled to play Missouri afterward. KU got it's game in, so the weather must have changed quite a bit after that.
Good luck against KU tonight.

It was raining yesterday evening in Topeka, so maybe they were getting rain in KC too.

It was called for rain.
Would have been interesting on some level, as Mizzou started Scherzer against SEMO today as they're working him back from injury. We would have faced him yesterday.
However, if today's result is any indication as to how that would have gone, maybe it's for the best it got rained out, because KU whooped our *** this afternoon. We looked as craptastic as we have for a month now.

It appears that CU hasn't played well since the shox left Omaha.
