Dextroy Manswell
Newest MSU Bear
http://www.willistonherald.com/content/articles/2005/11/06/news/sports/sports2.jpg
From letsgobears on letsgobears.com:
"He's a legit 6'7", probably closer to 6'8" - not some 6'5" guy they list as 6'7". Great hops, something like a 38 inch vertical leap and he really gets there quick. He's a great shot blocker and very good rebounder, especially on the offensive end. Needs to work on extending his shooting range. Tremendous amount of potential, I think the Bears got a good one."

Time will tell whether he's good or not, but we needed a 4 and got one. We REALLY needed an athletic 4 and appear to have got one in spades.
This is the best news we've had this off-season. Maybe Wisconsin actually did commit to the South Padre, Arkansas will play us, and we'll also get UK. That would certainly go a loooong way to improving bad situations from last year.

I don't read much into the last two pictures. These days everyone is annihilating the Royals. However, this man-beast does appear to be a nice find for :bears: .

Seems like he has an upside. However, seeing Kruse play and that he was 1st team all-conference, I wonder how raw he is if he was only honorable mention. Hopefully the Bears can turn him into something...except when they play the 'Birds

According to the Williston College site:
He is from Tobago. Averaged 8 ppg and 7.7 rpg in 04-05., shot 55% from the field, blocked 51 shots (about 2 a game) and had 41 steals. Through 9 games in 05-06 he averaged 10.2 ppg and 6.78 rpg with 10 blocks and 12 steals. They only had the stats for the first 9 games of 05-06.

That means close to 49% of women wake up with the same thing.
Beats waking up with man-puke, eh Blueblood?

Dextroy Manswell, a forward who has competed for the past two seasons at Williston (N.D.) State College, will transfer to Missouri State University and play next season for the Bears of coach Barry Hinson. Manswell will have two years of eligibility available to him with the Bears.
A 6-foot-7, 215-pounder, Manswell is from Scarborough, Tobago, in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He plans to major in business at Missouri State. He played two seasons at Williston State for the Tetons of Coach Terry Olson in the Montana-Dakota League.
The Tetons in 2005-06 were 23-11 and advanced to the national junior college tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., where they won one and lost one. Manswell averaged 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots a game. Manswell attended Roxborough Composite High where he played basketball and cricket. He has a brother, Kerston, who competed in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and is currently undefeated as a heavyweight boxer.
"Dex Manswell fills a need that we’ll have next season with the quickness and athleticism he’ll bring to us on the inside," said Hinson. "He’s a great rebounder and shot blocker and he’ll fit right in with the low post people we have coming back for next season.

Being from "The South", I'm sure it was Barry's BBQ that sealed the deal.
