:chair: Watch out next year for Matt Webster. He made great strides his junior season. Teams will have to throw in a few thugs :helpsmilie: to foul him and get him frustrated :ranting: . But just ask Mitch Holthus how dangerous Webster is in the post. I'm saying at least 18.0 points per game and a first team all valley. :aces: :aces: :aces:

Did Mitch Holthus play against Matt Webster in the post?

No thugs here. We'll have to come up with a legitimate alternative to contain Webster. Maybe Braeuer can get in his way again.

That was a brutal collision. Like a bug on a widnshield. Webster certainly makes Evansville better. Against the Shox he consistently made some ugly looking shots.

It may be ugly, but Webster just about mastered his fade away jumper from the baseline. He lit it up against the Salukis with that shot time and time again.

Biggest flopper in the Valley.:crutch: He would flop when 160 pound Johnny Mathies or 150 pound Dom Bishop touched him.
That said, he's a good player {on a bad team}.

Not only is he a flopper, but he gets away with more pushing and shoving than any player in the MVC. He leads with his forearm every time he goes to the hoop, clearing players out of the way like a pulling guard....and never seems to get called for it. He's also a master of pushing and grabbing without getting caught....it's always the other guy retaliating who gets caught.
Having said that, I'd love to have him on my team.

I really don't think Webster has anything on the some other players with respect to flopping. One of the strangest sights I saw was Bradley practicing flopping before a game with the refs present. The whole team would fall backwards as a drill.

Takes one to know one (ie from a fan of the biggest group of floppers in the country).

You're an *****hole 10 times over. It must be the water in Wichita, drink it, and become an *****hole.
My only hope is that your team suffers 4 or 5 bad injuries this year so I can watch you grind your teeth on your 10-17 season.
Ignore list.

There have been plenty of guys who went through this league, such as Kent Williams and Robbie Sieverding, that you wanted to punch when they played your team but you secretly admired how they played.
Jamar Howard, you just wanted to punch.

Let's see.....namecalling, hoping for injuries, stereotyping......that qualifies 10 times over as a classy post.

Hard to believe any MVC team has more thugs than us.
