How many teams did he get right out of 65 teams in the tourney this year?

I'm thinking 62 or 63 out of 65. I'm sure, like everybody else who had any sense, he didn't have Utah State or Air Force.

Missouri State was the biggest snub ever!

He cheats:banghead: !

Nothing happened to hurt the bears, only thing that did happen was south carolina losing which helped the bears and out of nowhere and hour before the pairings he droped Mo State and added George Mason. He got inside info, their is noway we would of done that without knowing something.

If he had inside info, then why wasn't he 100%?

MoState417, yeah I thought it was very odd that all of a sudden Mr. Lunardi pulled the Bears from his list at the last hour. I knew once he did that, then it was a pretty good bet the Bears were NIT bound. Hmmmm???

Agree totally. Someone on the inside told him what was going to happen. The change was too late in the game and too obvious. There hadn't been any results for a week that would have prompted such a change--only a phone call from a hotel where the committee was meeting.

I'm done reading Bracketology stuff from him in terms of "deserving and undeserving teams". He's good for feeling which way the wind is blowing, and nothing else.

I think 63 or something.

In the final hours, he pulled George Mason from the "next 4 out" into "last 4 in". Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Virtually every bracketologer missed bad because of USU and AF.

It's not hard to get 62 of 65 right when on the last bracket he posts (at arouund 5:00 PM) he's looking at the official brackets.

How do I know this? Because this year...for TWO WEEKS leading up to the NCAA Selection Show, Lunardi had 5 Valley teams in the NCAA's and had MSU comfortably in the tournament and his last bracket that was posted at 4:35 PM had MSU out and Air Force in. He cheats. I used to be impressed by his level of knowledge, but it appears that he cheats to get his final spots.

let's be honest ... all the major media outlets are starting to develop sources on the inside.
last year, NOBODY had uni on their at-large bid radar on wednesday before the selections were made public but SI.com kept talking up how the panthers were very much in the mix. by friday, they were being mentioned elsewhere. on sunday, they were in the field.
this year was no different. andy katz was doing live updates on saturday and sunday citing sources close to the committee.
the fun is about to be gone. we'll know the field on friday before you know it.
