After reading this write up about some of the prospects from draftexpress.com, O'Bryant is gone. I would have loved to see him play one more year for the Braves, but his time to go is now. Good luck Patrick!

Yeah, I have been reading that OBryant is not going lower than 17, I figured he was gone anyways. Well, on the flipside that is good Mojo for Les, he is probably going to place 2 starters on NBA teams next year with Cellus and POB. That cant hurt recruiting whatsoever.

This is so tough for these kids. I really wish they would get their "practice" for the NBA done during their Jr. and Sr. seasons in college rather than riding pine for 2 years on an NBA bench. But, you can hardly blame them for the coin thats out there. If he had a huge Jr. year, he could be a top 5 pick and make more, but also blow out a knee ala that guy from Western Kentucky.

He is listed as the 12th pick right now on nbadraft.net, I think the top 13? are considered lottery picks?

I liked how Cellus played throughout his career - but he isn't starting for any NBA team next season. He'll probably make a nice carerr overseas if he chooses to pursue that avenue.

POB has a chance, but he's probably a reserve for the first few seasons as well.

Either way, you're right, professional players coming through your program can't hurt.

I think he meant they were starters at BU.

Sommerville won't be on an NBA roster next year. I agee with the previous posters that he should have a nice career oversees. He just doesn't have guard skills to play on the perimeter.

Good for POB. Still would have liked to play him one more year! :jays:

you misread me. Bradley starters, not NBA starters. And you never know, one or both of those guys could pan out to be pretty damn good NBA starters.

Why is it a mistake in your opinion?

I have enjoyed seeing Bradley play in Des Moines, so I am sorry to see Patrick leave, especially since IowaSU will be playing BU this season in Des Moines, but you really can't blame these kids for not turning down the big money of the the NBA. Sure it would be great to get another year of experience, but if they tear up a knee, all that money is gone. Best wishes to him.:braves: :bulldogs:

we've covered this before and there's plenty of opposing opinions.
but, i just think he'd be better served staying in school for another year. i don't believe he is an nba player at this point.
but i'm not POB, i'm not his agent and i have no vested interest in the situation so i wish him well.
