With a growing number of trash-talk posts keeping some ValleyTalkers away, we the moderators thought that it would be appropriate to setup a sub-forum for those folks who just can't help themselves. :cursing:

So.....flame away, smack away, trash-talk away! Please remember, though, that this is still a family board & the forum rules still apply so keep it clean. Posts here will be moderated just like the other boards, but we will be a bit more lenient.

Many posters who post smack want it seen by the largest possible audience. There will still be much smack posted in the basketball threads.

I know it's a lot of work but I hope this Forum results in a quicker trigger for removing obvious smack from the main discussion threads.

I will do my part to "encourage" posters to take smack-talk to this Forum.

I would think that anything which compares the quality of opera or symphony between two cities definitely belongs here.

And no, Creighton fans, opera is not what happens at Joe's Country Bumpkin on Friday night.

Was this idea "borrowed" from the Any Given Saturday message board? They have a smack board that works quite well there. The smack on the Youngstown State Penguings is hilarious.

I was a member of previous VT, but never joined the new VT because of the incessant childishness. So, now that I am here, I would like to thank you for this new trash talk forum, and this will be my last post in the trash talk forum. Anybody want to discuss as a fan, I'm happy to do so in the other forums.
