Over 300 posts and nearly 4,000 views in 4 days makes ValleyTrashTalk by far the most popular section of ValleyTalk. But oh how ValleyTalk would be such a "better" place if all of us characters would just behave...

It's a great day...

I feel like a proud father! :naughty: Yet I will probably partake in very little of the fare in here. My work is done and the sun is setting on nasty ol' CB.

Maybe he could inject some new life because this forum seems to be fizzling. Better yet can someone find Cap'n Cat from the AGS forum and encourage him to come here. He would liven things up.

We could adopt UIUC as our favorite BCS school and wait for BU, ISU & SIU fans to object. Bet that would liven up this trashy forum. :devil2:

Or we could praise UNL and see how CU fans react ... except I can't bring myself to praise the Corn 'cuz I love it when the Jays stomp the Huskers.

I sometimes wonder what Shocker fans do on Saturdays as they have no football team to root for.

Do they cheer for KU or KSU? Hmmmmm.....

Maybe they are ND fans like half of the people on SalukiTalk.

You grossly overestimate the number ND fans there, Fray.

I have my own ideas what Shocker fans do on Saturdays during football season, but I would be violating the TOS of VT of I elaborated.....

Actually, Shocker fans have the next 3 weekends tied up with Shocker Baseball in the Shocker World Series which is leading into Shocker madness. After that who cares about football - Its Basketball Season!!!!

Volleyball is something that more and more Shocker fans are starting to follow. But everything revolves around basketball

Well I just get tired of that Golden Domer talk on there too. I hear you... I wish that Saluki fans would be Saluki fans first, even if we're I-AA.:salukis: :salukis: :salukis: :salukis:

Is it football season? It's Sunday afternoon and I'm testing the DVD I just burned of the WSU/SIU game in 1983. You know the one, it's where Antoine goes off for a WSU record 47 points against SIU studs such as #42 Darnall Jones, Charles Nance and Pie Walker. Right now it's 68-49 with 4:43 to go.
X and Aubrey are lighting it up as well.

I just got back from a 30 mile bike ride.......no sign of GoSMSGo on the road, so it was enjoyable, and I didn't have to pedal for my life......

ISASO, I took a date to that game, we had a ball........

Was Cleveland Bibbens was on that team as well? Also, if I remember correctly, Allen VanWinkle was "really unhappy here".

Does the digital burn confirm this my friend?

I'm the 8 year old holding the "THANKS, A.C.!" sign in section V.

I used to keep score at every game - I remember running out of room on the paper for 'Toine in the first half of that game.

Good times, good times.

There are a couple of high-flying thunder-dunks from 'Toine in that game. It still makes you say 'wow'. But more impressive were the nimble moves to the bucket, off the dribble, in traffic, soft bank shots and swishes. An extreme variety of shots for him that night. Even made a 3.
