See, UNI and Indiana State can fit in too. We're cool like that.

Can anybody really hate the Trees?

Hating us would be like hating a little girl in a wheelchair or something.

I remember a day when the Shocks were all pumped up to play us last December since we were the "team to beat," then things just went to hell in a handbasket.

NoPlaceLikeDome--I like your spirit though. I say down with UNI and EVANSVILLE! :bash:

Oh my God, I bust out laughing at that!

Yeah, I don't really hate the Trees. But, it is weird that UNI and Indiana State are really the only teams in the MVC without any big rival. I guess Drake doesn't have one either...

I remember one year when Fogler was coaching in a WSU-ISU game. A bench-clearing fight broke out, eventually leaving the Shockers with only 4 players due to ejections and foul disqualifications.

At that particular point, we could hate ISU only 4/5 (or 80%) of our capabilities. Funny thing is, we managed to hold on and win the game.

Strange night, that was.......

My tree is bigger than your tree. And my tree has more brances than your tree. Those branches reach out way further than the brachnes on your tree. Those braches even have a largers diameter than your tree's. (Typos or grammatical slips in here are for effect.)

There have been numerous statistical surveys that prove that birds rate my tree much higher than your tree. Yeah, your tree might have some squirrels, but that's all you got - SQUIRRELS. You can ask any Bluejay. They all like my tree better. Redbirds too. Redbirds flock to my tree, but they usually stay out of that wimpy Sycamore.

When my tree competed against a Sycamore, my tree went sky on it and left that wimpy Sycamore so far behind it couldn't see the light of day. It's been all downhill for the Sycamore ever since.

My tree is in a completely different range than your tree. Your tree deosn't stand a chance when it comes to my place. Here's the proof:

Proof that Sycamores die in Wichita (http://forestry.about.com/od/hardwoods/ss/sycamore_3.htm). When Sycamores show up in Wichita they're all wimpy-***** sick trees making a feeble and hopeless effort to survive.

I know this is true because my idiot neighbor is a big Sycamore fan and even put one in his back yard. What a dolt. Thinking a Sycamore ever had a chance in Wichita.

I think that hating Indiana State is a lot like hating the nerdy guy at the bar trying to move in on your girl. He won't get her, but it sure is fun to watch him try.

You can't hate people like that. If you do, you have no sense of humor. You jerk.

You better believe it. Hey, if I don't promote myself... who will?

Oh, and I have no beef with Indiana State basketball or Valley Basketball in general unless it's Valley Season.

This is why I hate Wichita State the most:

It was Indiana State that had 4 players and they cut the lead down to 4, I believe, late in the second half.

I hate the tees. I hate golf in general. Imagine a game where guys hit their balls on the grass. Must be a commie plot.

That is the way I remember it too. The trees were short-handed and played the Shox tough after the ejections - I even cut class that night to watch it on TV.
