The team just doesn't have a whole lot of talent, and they've had just about every injury/academic/personal bad break you can imagine. Allen's going to get a free pass this year for sure, because Vince Freaking Lombardi might not be able to coach this team to .500. I wouldn't be that surprised if they lost at home to SBU next week. Four wins might be a miracle.

I know you are probably kidding about the loss to SBU...but come on...its one game against a D1-A school...should it have been better...yes...am i dissapointed that it wasnt...yes...but we had to start our third string RB, im not saying that if Cooper started and played we would have won but we would have looked better...positive notes were that we as a team threw for like 250+ yards with only one interception...thats pretty good...granted our defense is horrible but as the season goes on and has some time to work together it should be at least average...from listening to the game i found our biggest problem to be our kicking coverage...yikes thats a horrible way to start the game...reminded me of the KU game a few years back...anyways im just rambling now...but it is one game...let it go and get back to work for SBU and UCA and SHSU before conference starts...
PS- Im still calling for a 6-5 record

Are you a Chiefs fan?
(Yes, I am a Chiefs fan but I know the Chiefs will always underachieve. They might go 13-3 once in a while (or 3-13 this year??) but they will always suck in the playoffs.)
