This was the fourth e-mail Scott sent this week. One was about Wichita State being the best-kept secret in college basketball. Another was about WSU and Creighton being the best rivalry in college basketball. Another was about something else. Truth is, I tuned out pretty quickly, and does anybody else think Missouri Valley Conference fans are becoming annoying? If I had a nickel for every time I heard the phrase "BCS bias," I'd start my own bowl game and hire Roy Kramer to run it.

Look, the MVC is a great basketball league. Let me repeat that. A. Great. Basketball. League. It is no secret, just like Wichita State is no secret. The Shockers went to the Sweet 16 last season. They're in everybody's Top 25 this season, and Mark Turgeon is one of the hottest names in coaching. None of that is a secret. The only thing holding the MVC back now are the insecurities of its fans, their silly belief that nobody else understands the quality of the MVC. Please, you don't have to do any more convincing. The numbers speak for themselves. Stop whining all the time.

But if it's any consolation, I'll have you know that I personally penned a 2,000-word article on the greatness of the Missouri Valley Conference for the CBS SportsLine preseason magazine that should be hitting shelves soon. Also, I've already booked a trip to -- you won't believe this -- Wichita next month to spend a couple of days with Mark Turgeon and his team. But don't tell anybody, Scott. You know, it's a secret.

Who is it that stalks message boards for "information" about WSU? CU fan.

The truth is, Shocker fan has succeeded. Shocker fan has gotten so far into a few heads (i.e. LJay, Raspukin and a few others) that CU fan has become symptomatically obsessive compulsive stalkers. Their insecurity and inferior fan support on VT leads them to lash out and delsusionally attempt to blame others.

The good news is priests are trained to discern the type of help needed when it comes to mental illness. Some churches even have established on-site counseling centers. I suggest several members of the CU nation take advantage of these services.

I'm just happy the board has this "trashtalk" thread. At least I know what to expect when I come here, I just hope we can keep all of the WSU-CU crap isolated to this board. It will not happen but it's a noble goal.

LJ was trying to beg the WSU fans from sending these nonstop e-mails to the media because it is making everyone in the conference look bad. I susect that if LJ only wanted to insult/incite WSU fans, he would have omitted the little tidbit in which Parish states that he is getting annoyed at the conference as a whole.

Does anyone doubt that the WSU poster who is harassing Parrish is also a poster on this board. Both the post LJ cites and the the earlier statement by Parrish posted in another thread sounds just like the typical WSU posts on this board.

A couple points need to be made here. It was a WSU fan and not WSU fans sending non-stop e-mails. There are a few CU fans who continually lump all WSU fans together based on the actions of very few or even a single WSU fan. There is a difference between "one", "very few" and "all". Learn it. Use it.

I doubt it was a poster on ShockerNet or VT who sent the e-mails. I reviewed every post about the subject and the post most similar in tone and content to the infamous e-mail actually came from a KSU fan on ShockerNet.

The infamous e-mailer used his actual name, which is in the phone book. I'd call him up and ask him if he's a poster, but I bet he's already taken enough grief for the way he got called out.

As to the discussion that the e-mail to Parrish was by someone who posts here, that was a preamble to the rest of my post regarding guessing which WSU poster is the culprit (this portion of my post was removed by the mods). I wasn't trying to be Sherlock, I just wanted to see who everybody thought was the culprit. (Perhaps that is now quite clear :lol:)
