Ugh; our defense couldn't stop Western for most of the day as the 'Necks were 12 of 16 on 3rd down. Made the last stand when needed to pull out the game, 31-24. :salukis:

Even Indiana St. can put points on the board. They just can't keep the opponent from putting more than them up there.

I was impressed with Western Illinois' QB. Tough kid who made the plays when he had to. The 4th down decider was a drop.

LaFalce is a veteran QB. It seems like he has been at WIU forever. The receiver who dropped the critical catch had caught 9 passes in the game. I'm sure he feels bad about the drop, but without him WIU would not have even been in the game.
