YES! In the 10/9 Sport's Network top 25 poll, IL St ranks #5, YSU is at #6 and SIU comes in #7 plus UNI's Panthers hold down the #14 spot. We're starting to see some separation between the top 4 GFC teams and the lower 4 teams. However WKU and WIU are still very solid and could (possibly will) take down one of the top teams.
The Gateway is looking good so far for 3 playoff spots (maybe 4 if UNI keeps winning), but it's still too early to think of all that. We've got plenty of intense GFC battles over the next few weeks.

The Gateway is a very tough competitive league. That is not news.

Things are going to get shaken up a lot more. Redbirds may be able to take 2nd (not much movement we can do if teams above us don't lose), UNI should shoot up 5-6 spots at least. SIU and YSU will drop, WKU will make a push to get back in the rankings.

UNH, Hampton and Richmond all lost yesterday. UNI could be in the top 10 this week.
