Freakin babies. Tell your players to suck it up. If you want to play with the big boys, act like it. Illinois, Wisconsin, Mich. St. etc. all play this type of physical defense.

watch an illinois game this year, or a Wisconsin game. Watch. Also check out Ok St. and I think another one to check out is Pitt. Watch those teams. Airforce is another. Watch there D's. PHYSICAL!

Thats funny. I seem to remember watching a couple of these teams play WSU last season, and wasn't really dissapointed in the officiating. There is a big difference between tough, physical defense and hackerball.

Fine. By that logic, I'll have our coach or players create a distraction so all officals are looking at it. Then, I'll have a redshirt freshman come over to one of your important guys and kick them in the face. The refs didn't see it so no foul.:grin:

Pull ups and dumbbell rows - to strengthen back, biceps, and grip in order to hold players and pull jerseys better

Bench Press and triceps extensions - to strengthen chest and triceps in order to push off and throw elbows more effectively

45 minutes on the punching bag/ sparing - to increase hand quickness in order to slap forearms harder, faster, and with more accuracy

5 minute shoot around

wah wah wah, WSU and the rest of the MVC have been getting our butts kicked on the court by SIU for the last 5 years. So since we can't beat them fair and square on the court, we're gonna cry about how the refs jobbed us, or how we coudn't compete with the physical D of the Salukis, or how an SIU player shot one of your players, oops that actually didn't happen. But listening to all of you complain about you'd think it had. If your team can't handle SIU maybe they should leave the valley for say the PAC 10, they don't play defense over there.
