CU and WSU posters aren't the only VT-destroyers, but they have a clear lead.

There are about 4 WSU posters and 3 or 4 CU posters who constantly use every thread to insult each other. You know who your are. So does everybody else. Those are some of the most active posters here, so it seems every thread ends up as a "mine is bigger" thread.

I've read too many posts that have included every comparison beteen Wichita and Omaha other then "Population of Rats In Sewer Per 3 Cubic Yards of Sewer Volume". I've read them too may times.

If you've made the same point on the board 999 times, think! Does it really need to be said 1,000 times? Will that 1,000th time it's posted finally start winning people over to your side after 999 failed attempts?

Qwest has a larger capacity than Koch. I'm convinced. I think it was the 1,001st time I read it that I was actually convinced. WSU owns Koch - CU rents Qwest. I'm certain it was posts 1,002 through 2,000+ that finally convinced me of this fact.

"But VT would be so boring if it wasn't for the people who fight out here". So, my choices are boring or irritating? Is that right? I'm picking boring. If there's no news in the off-season, I'd sooner see no posts than 8 pages of an Omaha/Wichita lovefest.

I'm tired of getting lumped into the "irriating WSU fan" theme that's getting achieved by maybe 5% of WSU's total posters, but that 5% is a very vocal minority.

When I first found this board, the Wichita/Omaha stuff was somewhat amusing. Several years later it's more than a bit tiring and it's still the same people doing it.

I've got no problem with some good-natured - or "not-good-natured" smack, but the main smack talkers need some new material. Please! We've been reading your same sorry, tired formula smack for 2 years at least.

Reading VT is like going to a Comedy Club two weekends in a row and realizing the comic was held over and you know every punchline.

Agreed. As the season (particularly the all-important non-conference portion) fast approaches, it's not only a good idea to read threads carefully, but start pulling for each other again.

A good OOC showing is the only way to duplicate last year's success.

We can all laugh about the Alaska-Anchorages and Monmouths (sorry, SIU fans, most readily and recent examples available), but we also need to celebrate our OOC successes with each other.

And this includes WSU and Creighton fans.

No apologies needed, Outpost ... I still can't believe we lost to those clowns last year, although Monmouth did wind up as an NCAA tourney team. Still, it was inexcusible.

There seems to be a little too much love in this thread. So I'm going to pick on Joey and say that he sucks.

Although I am also in agreement with you guys here.

I want to say that I have always rooted for every MVC team in the non-conference portion of their schedule. That's more than at least one non-WSU fan can honestly say.

Further, nothing any non-WSU fan says will make me hate that school. You can't get to me that way, no matter what you say or how many times you repeat it. It's unfortunate that we have seen that type of hate from non-WSU posters.

Wow ... I admit we sucked balls and lost embarassingly to Alaska-Anchorage and Monmouth and you still pile on?
Where's a Creighton fan when you need one?:valley:

THANK YOU!!

Now, if only we could get a few of those 8 offenders you referenced in your first post to agree to this, we would begin to have our old ValleyTalk back.

You carry that enviable cloak of security that so many in our modern era operate nakedly without. It gives you this "magic power" to think clearly when your ego is attacked.

"Good 'ol Aargh" is just playin' to the crowd. An unfortunate yet moderately profitable angle for the imaginatively challenged.
