Thats easy - everyone besides Drake. There's no reason to be envious of Drake. They're the only team that hasn't qualified for the NCAA's after the Richard Nixon presidency.

I read this post and my initial reaction was "BS!!!!".

There's no way Drake still has a basketball team!

But, after exhaustive research I realized you were right. They DO still have a team. With uniforms and everything.

There is no way anyone would have cheated to sign Casey Crawford. In Crawford's Sr year his stock dropped faster than a '90's dot.com on Nasdaq.

WSU isn't cheating. Huge thanks to Roy Williams who had WSU investigated repeatedly. If WSU even sniffed a recruit KU was remotely considering, WSU got an NCAA investigation. The last Roy Willims NCAA complaint resulted in a total investigation of EVERYTHING WSU did and WSU had violated an NCAA rule.

There was a week when total practice time exceeded NCAA guidelines by 20 minutes. The NCAA ordered WSU to reduce practice time by 20 minutes a week for the remainder of the season.

KU was just flat-out paying players. There was academic fraud and "lack of institutional control" was stated. KU lost a schollie for 2 years, so the wealthy Kansas family of a KU recruit offered to pay in-state tuition for their son for 2 years. Goodbye NCAA sanctions.

WSU actually got hit harder 10 years ago for a practice that went too long than KU got hit for paying players. NCState has the most difficult coaching job in the world.

Honestly! I didn't mean to make this thread and I apologize! I was trying to figure out how to post a poll. And in the process I accidently put this on the board. There are a handful of Wichita fans that I have a ton of respect for and I know it's not their fault that the majority of Wichita fans are scumbags .. so to the Shockers fans .. the handful of you .. that are good, respectful people, I apologize!

More so than anything, it is the Shocker fanbase that annoys me. I remember CNNSI doing a report in '99 aftert the Molina/Christianson incident and a lot of WSU fans that were interviewed said things like "he got what he deserved." I only have had two experiences really where I have encountered WSU fans at sporting events: in 2001 at a SMS/WSU baseball game in Springfield and the 2004 college baseball regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In Springfield, they came into Price Cutter Park and acted like they owned the place. At Fayetteville, I was wearing a Mizzou hat and they were downright rude to me. 90 percent of their traveling fanbase are 60+ year old people who don't know crap about college baseball, who walk slow, are arrogant people who act like they own college baseball when they haven't been to Omaha since the mid-90's. That being said, most Wichita St. people on this board seem to be decent human beings and I respect them.

Every fan base has their share of asses. I could (and will) say the exact same thing about the SMSU fans at the Valley tourneys in Wichita. The vast majority of which needed a shot in the teeth.

They were arrogant, rude, mouthy and non-complimentary. Poor guests. These things work both ways, there are simply more WSU fans. That's why the PERCEPTION is worse.

WSU has a good baseball tradition and I am sure that there are a lot of knowlegable Shocker baseball fans, but it seems to me that the ones that are the most vocal don't know a heck of a lot.

You did the math? 90% of our traveling fan base are 60+ retired people who have the time to travel to see their beloved team play ball. I'm sure that is true for most college baseball teams. Most students don't go to baseball games, so what do you expect?

Is trash talk a noun, or is trash an adjective and talk a noun? Or is it really Trashtalk, with Trashtalk being a noun. What about Forum? Is Forum a noun, or just a compilation of hot Penthouse letters?

Where did this come from? Considering there are more WSU fans registered here than any other team, chances are a greater number will be posting compared to any other school's fans.
