Braves down 22-21 at 9:31.

Jeremy Crouch looks like a new man though, 10 points so far.

"Winona giving Bradley a game too"

Apparently not anymore... :braves: spanking em now, 72-58. Ruffin has 22 points, and Zach Andrews has like 18 pts! Good game for Ruffin, he should score lots this year.

I was impressed with Andrews last year as well when POB was out. Those two will be statistical studs this year.

Not really much of a game, BU wins it 90-77. BU had a double-digit lead the whole 2nd half.

Zach Andrews went out of his mind in the 2nd half, finishing with 26 pts and 10 rebounds. Ruffin also was exceptional, scoring 21 points and dishing out 14 assists. JC was outstanding as well, scoring 18 points on 4 of 5 from beyond the arc, including a team-high 4 steals. BU's defense was stellar at times, causing at least 25 turnovers. They did have some lapses though, giving up 77 points. Offensively was the same story, outstanding at times but sloppy at times, nearing 20 turnovers.

All in all, about what you'd expect in an exhibition game against a very good DII team. Some good things, some bad things. Back to work tomorrow.

Re: Winona giving Drake a game

I find it hard to believe that Winona will be able to bring the same gamemanship to the court in Peoria tonight. Who could?

Bradley by 15 tonight .. maybe more.

The game seemed more intense than the regular exhibition game. Winano State didn't have any depth in their frontline to exploit Bradley's lack of depth inside.

Three players for Bradley came out to play (Ruffin,Andrews & Crouch), the rest were alright or disappointing.

One game does not a season make, but this is the player I see when I made comments about the best true PG in the Valley and was lambasted for mentioning DR with JD or BM. The kid can play, a lot.:braves: go go :braves:

14 assists is pretty impressive. I don't care who you're playing

And scoring 21 points on top of those 14 assists is even more impressive. Ruffin will have to play huge for Bradley this year if Bradley wants to stay out of the bottom half of the league.
