11:38 left in 2nd half

Stout 13 pts
Brown 9 pts
Eglseder 12 pts
Josten 8 pts
Coleman 4 pts
Ahlegbe 5 pts

Eglseder (our 7'1" guy) and Ahlegbe are both freshmen.

Panthers shooting 67% but have 10 turnovers.

Right now I am impressed with how the freshmen are doing.

This is a total blowout. How good would you say Central is compared to other valley exhibition teams?

Central is DIII, hence the blowout. The next exhibition will be tougher against DII Southwest Minnesota State.

I'm guessing they didn't have anyone over 6-8, let alone able to keep up with the frosh?

their starting center was 6-10 and backup 6-7. But being 6-10 and playing in DIII probably means that he is not too polished of a player.

At least it was a big body. They could have easily had a starting 6-7 center with a 6-6 guy off the bench. I am very interested in hearing about the UNI back court. Any info on who is expected to play and what they bring is appreciated.

Well, McKowen will be the starting PG as he has been the last 3 years, he will have to step up and score more than he has. at the 3 Position is Soph. Travis Brown. He is a scorer and probably has the most ability to create on the team, he played some last year. At the 2 is where the question mark is. Junior Jared Josten will start. He is the quickest player on the team. He will be expected to lay solid D and make the open 3. Adam Viet will back him up. He is a Junior and a great shooter, but not as mobile. Fresh. Kwadzo Ahlegbe will probably be the backup point guard. Fresh. Stephen Jones will probably play some minutes at the 1 and 2.

These are my guesses anyway. I haven't seen the Freshman play in Panther Uniforms. Im sure There are panther fans on here that can give a better outlook

McKowen is my least favorite player in the league. This speaks volumes as I'm not on the central Illinois coaches friends list.
