Yeah, there is a thread about this on the WSU board also. This guy is nothing but a load of turds. He cannot just admit he was wrong. He uses the analogy that if George Mason played in the ACC and Maryland played in the CAA, that their fortunes would have been reversed. What he fails to mention is that Maryland would have the budgetary and recruiting obstacles that GM has and GM would have those luxuries. Overall, it was a poor argument and he looks like a fool.

It was on the Creighton site before it was on the WSU site.

I knew you'd know that I would like that. Anyway back to the topic at hand, why does Billy P:puke:er have to be such a douchebag?

Your dead bird picture icon looks more like a turtle jumping and flying to the right if you look at it right. So there.

Maybe he thinks if he has people screaming and yelling at him he feels relevant. I don't see him leaving the East Coast much this season.

Yeah, I read that too... that sounds like the kind of arguement you'd hear on a message board, and this guy's supposed to be a professional? What a HACK.

That whack-off was doing the same thing 27 years ago to Indiana State. So, everyone join in singing that oldie-but-goodie, "Ode to Billy Packer" written all those years ago by ticked off Sycamore fans:

Here's to Billy Packer
Billy Packer
Billy Packer
Here's to Billy Packer,
Don't come to our school

We'll haunt you
We'll taunt you
We'll make you a fool

Here's to Billy Packer,
DON'T COME TO OUR SCHOOL!

Still relevant after all these years...:Jumpy:

It does actually, lol.

Someone has entirely too much time on his hands.

Who cares what Pecker says. If you can't get the viewership to embrace you through positive tactics, then you simply use the opposite; negativity. Peckerwood just uses the latter to garner attention.

How old IS Billy Packer now....about 98 or so? This "so called" college b-ball analyst/expert should finally be put out to pasture because he's completely senile. Not sure how he keeps his job after showing the nation last year what an utter boob sounds and looks like.

GET RID OF HIM!! He's NOT a good ambassador for college b-ball. Packer's just REALLY old and set in his ways....refusing to admit when he's wrong.

He's either reached senility, left therapy, or is off his meds again. Why can't CBS just fire him? Even if it meant giving Dukie V the big paycheck, I'd rather listen to him than Fudge Packer, at least he gives the MVC credit.

Here's a quote:

Billy Packer: My basic rule is that I don't get involved in trying to judge a team before I see them play. Here's what surprises most people: I spend no time at all — zero — researching that stuff during the offseason. I've been that way for the last half-dozen years or so. I used to try to figure everything out, but I don't spend one second on that anymore.

Take N.C. State, for example. If I had tried to think about them in March, it would have been Herb Sendek, these coaches, these players, Cedric Simmons, Andrew Brackman. Now I look at them, only six months later, and no more games have been played, but it's a completely different coach and team. That's why I gave it up. Too many times, it was a waste of time.

Hey Fudgepacker, it would be nice if maybe you could do the same with a few of the MVC teams before you passed judgement on them. Idiot...
