Predictions for seventh week of the conference season (winners in bold):

Ill State over Indy State Redbirds sewing up a playoff bid
WIU over Missouri State Leathernecks finishing up a winning season
WKU over YSU Going with the home team
SIU over UNI Going with the home team as well as my homer pick

This seems to set up the best scenario for the league getting 4 bids. If UNI can follow this up with a win over Illinois State the following week, we could have UNI with the Autbid along with SIU, YSU and Ill State all at 8-3.

I actually would love to see that scenario play out. If Youngstown State loses to WKU, I would be fine with the Salukis beating us. The more Gateway teams in the playoffs the better!

With WKU leaving the league after this year, this will be their last Gateway game ever. I'm sure they would like to go out with a bang.

Congrats to Misery State for getting their first conference win and to YSU for punching their playoff ticket. Looks there can only be 3 teans with a bid. Stil, not bad. A lot of leagues would take it.
