A don't lose or be ridiculed forever opponent for the Sycamores tonite. The Oakland City (IN) Mighty Oaks come to the Hulman Center. It is a team full of Southern Indiana barnyard shooters who would like nothing better than to knock off a D1 team.

Note: I would not have scheduled this game!

is it me or does it seem ISU plays just hard enough to win games and nothing more. When will this team put together a good game for two halves and just blow someone out?? Butler? Purdue? Ball State? MTSU?? It better be soon.
55-47 ISU, a couple minutes to go.

Whew...................too close for comfort. Sycamores win 66-52 but didn't break away until the last 3-4 minutes. Would rather have played a Loyola-Chgo, Austin Peay, etc. This was a win or "dump the coach" in the pre-season risk.

well at least it was almost a 15 point win. Gonna have to play much better at MTSU Thursday night. We'll take the win though!

I agree we should have beaten them by at least 20-25 but Royce played the bench alot tonite. I'd say the starters were only on the court together maybe 5 minutes of the game. I can't wait until January when ISU gets thier new & improved website! The current one is awful. Bring on Middle Tennessee State!

While this was a game that was hard for the fans to get into and maybe the players to get up for, coach did a lot of experimenting last night. I saw a lot of line ups on the floor together I haven't seen yet. Plus the walk on Bluitt (sp?) saw extended time. Hey, it is a win and got some guys a lot of time on the floor playing in a game that counts on the record. (but not RPI)
