We've all said that a team is overrated. One time or another, one team or another. So, why don't we tell each other where WE think teams should be ranked? We should start making our own top 25 lists. Here's the formula for our own little top 25 lists I was thinking of... (bold any Valley teams)
(place your screen name here)'s Top 25
(place teams 1-25 here)
Getting close-
(2 or 3 teams that could get in if they win their next game or two)
Here's mine.

No Ohio State? I'll chalk that up to a simple oversight.

At this point I'd also have to include OK St. over MO St.
They did beat them on a neutral court.

I like the above, although I'm not sure that Syracuse deserves to have to positions in the poll, though I'm sure Boeheim would be for it. Now you can include both your others.--maybe move butler up some......like 22.

I didn't remember Butler until I was to 25, and I'm too lazy to put them where they deserve to be. I would put Butler on the same level as Air Force, right now. Oops, I'll edit Syracuse out.
I can't edit the last post, so I'll repost it.

You also have washington in there twice.
A washington team that damn near lost to a solid norhtern iowa team. Either way at 4 or at 8 it my opinion you have them overanked.

Alright. So far, I've listed Texas A&M twice, Washington twice, and Syracuse twice. Go ahead, call me an idiot, I deserve it. But Washington deserves a top 10 spot. They'll win 2 titles in the next 4 years. They're going to return all 5 starters next year, and all 5 the year after.

IMO, Spencer Hawes is one and done. If not, he will clearly leave after his Sophomore year barring injury.

I'll insert my Valley Power Rankings:
1. WSU (5-0)-Undefeated with a win on the road against a top 10 team.
2. MSU (5-1)-Beat #7 Wisc. on a neutral floor and have only one loss to a solid Big 12 team
3. UNI (5-1)-Beat ISU and played a heck of a game at Wash. Do they have depth?
4. SIU (5-1)-Two and one against the BCS, but still without a statement win puts them behind UNI
5. CU (3-1)-Beating up Mason relieves some of the pain after the loss to Neb.
6. BU (5-2)-Close losses to U of I and Tenn. Tech won't get you in the dance, but victories over Depaul and Rutgers give you the name recognition for #6 in poll.
7. Ill St. (4-2)-No bad losses, not big wins. Team could be scary when the newcommers get seasoned.
8. Evansville (4-2)-The loss to Lipscomb is the only blemish early in the season, but the aces have had little competition.
9. Drake (2-2)-Still looking for an identity.
10. In. St. (3-4)-Recent loss to Mid Tenn St keeps the Sycs in the basement.
