Thanks for posting that. Great video, but no I wonder why no highlights of Ajay Calvin. He had a great night.
Anybody notice who the guy was hugging Tom Davis right at the very end of the video?
I'm pretty sure it was former Iowa State coach, Wayne Morgan. Maybe Morgan can help Dr Tom with some of his great recruiting connections.

Ajay is the leading scorer and rebounder in the Valley. POY numbers.

He is the leading scorer, but is 5th or 6th in rebounding. Coleman is at 10.5 per game, Calvin at 7.0....several others in between them.

There was a note in the print version of Sunday's Register that Wayne Morgan was at the game. Dr. Tom gave him front row tickets across from Iowa's bench. It would be very nice if Morgan could help Drake with some recruiting connections, maybe steer some of those "streetballer" types ISU didn't want Drake's way.

NO Wayne Morgan connections for Drake. We can't afford a NCAA investigation.

I'm not suggesting that Drake hire him.....just that I wouldn't mind him pointing Dr Tom toward some good players that he knows about through his connections.

If Drake continues to win it will be difficult to not put him in as POY.

If UE keeps winning, it will be very difficult to deny Matt Webster of the POY honor. He is what keeps UE rolling. He has been a very solid player in this league for 3+ years now and still does not get the respect he deserves.

I've been saying for 3 years that no player in the MVC gets more calls than Webster. He's a master at initiating contact and then getting the other guy called for retaliation.
Having said that, I'd love to him on my team. He's a warrior.

Eric Coleman is POY right now. Averaging a Double double for an 8-2 team...

Coleman has been a beast. It seems like he's been around forever, and he's still got almost 2 full seasons left!

Valley POY is more wide open than it has been in a long time. Should be an interesting debate all season. My guess is that (as is often the case) team wins might prove to be the deciding factor between several worthy players.

PJ Cousinard in my humble opinion is the best and most complete player in this league. He won't win POY but he is the most valuable to WSU, and to this point WSU has been the best team in the league.

Heard he's having big time academic problems.

Not True--- Complete BS... Finals are already over.
Nothing like attacking someones character, he is actually a very bright guy and does quite well in school, pretty sure he was on the Dean's List last semester...
