Hey guys, its been a pleasure keeping up with the Valley Victims this year. But, starting today, Im going to need someone to replace me. I go in for wrist surgery at 7:30 and will be in a cast anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks. Thanks a lot.
:bears: :valley:
Bummer. Get well quick.:ermm:
Speedy recovery my fellow Valley brother!

Here's to a speedy recovery, son.
We're gonna miss your updates, even if someone else steps up.

Did you go down because of all the Valley victories? Maybe you should lobby Elgin to pony up for some of you medical bills.
Best wishes that the surgery goes smoothly and your recovery is quick - and maybe with some good happy pills too! I've been on something called Cataflam after hyperextending the middle finger of my right hand. And no, I didn't do it flipping someone off...

Cataflam is very similar to Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil). Certainly not a "happy pill".
Hopefully, the middle finger injury had nothing to do with "The Shocker". :innocent: Has it affected your NTN game at all?

I really do appreciate these informational type threads. Thanks for taking your time to compile this information.
Is something wrong with your other hand?j/k
Best of luck.

OK, let me clarify a couple of things...
I guess I call it happy because it made the pain go away (unlike the script level doses of ibuprofen or naproxen) and the first double dose (doctor prescribed) made me very sleepy, which I liked and needed.
It has not affected my NTN play one bit! I still am as good or awful as normal.
And, shockball, if THAT were the cause, I'd be more likely to have elbow or shoulder problems! You know, that arc of motion thing...
