Sounds about how the situation was portrayed when he left. Turgeon was honest with him and he was honest with himself in knowing that the playing time was not going to be there if he stayed. Although, with the departure of Curt Bangle and the career ending knee problems of Zach Green, Walls would probably have played more than he previously thought. I wish the young man well and I think he will be a good division I player. From the article it sounds like he has no hard feelings either and he said he will be pulling for the Shox this weekend.

Surprising - Dana was at a recent IWCC game and I suspected he was looking at Walls as the Jays need another body up front next year but this article would say otherwise.
