Creighton vs. Northern Iowa Predictions

I am going to have to say the 3 main seniors Funk, Porter, and Tolliver come off the loss with a little frustration to get out. Each go over 15 with Funk going over 20. Northern Iowa struggles against the matchup zone.

I have the same funny feeling about this one that I did before UNI went on the Bucknell/Iowa swing and before we went to MSU... We all know that UNI has not had great success agaist Creighton anywhere, but I think somehow this team woke up on Saturday night...

I'm very worried about this game. I just hope we pull it out...I don't care what the score is so long as the Jays' number is larger.

The downward spiral for UNI continues. CU responds to a tough loss on national TV with another nail in UNI's provebial coffin.

It's 8-10 for UNI, it's a good thing they have the sweep over UE or it would be hello Thursday night.

I do think UNI will play better than they have, but they will not be able to win at CU. Creighton has our number, and it's at their place, and we've lost 6 out of 7. So to think we can go on the road and beat the second place team in the league when we haven't won at Drake, Illinois State, and Indiana State to say a few is a bit of a stretch. This would really be a major blow to Creighton if they would happen to lose this.

At the advice of former Panther standout & CU assistant Darian Devries, Dana Altman will show some love on the struggling Panthers(in honor of Valentines). Dana decides to rest the starters, and the second team in preparation of WSU, Drexel, and the Valley tourney. Altman marches out 3 team managers, a water boy, and a male cheerleader.

With UNI leading by 30 midway thru the second half. Devries has a sudden flashback to the ugly gambling scandal from his time as a Panther(He still resents the bad publicity and the harshness of the CFPD:fear: ).

Devries has Altman insert the starters for the final minutes. Funk immediately hits 11 consecutive 3's, the final 3 to win at the buzzer. As Funk turns towards the UNI bench, with his arm extended in the air holding his pose from the game winner. His other hand lifts his jersey to reveal a shirt that says,"FUNK YOU!":doh: and he blows a kiss at the Panther bench.

Must not do any homework when predicting games(UNI 0-10 at CU, currently lost 6 of last 7).
I think UNI is 6-0 when they score over 70. Which they obviously haven't done for a while.
