From what I understand, this guy guessed 65/65 teams last year - he has his updated projections for this year (tonight) here:

In it, he has the valley with six, count em, six teams in the dance. :)

Ironically enough. He has Maryland(Duke's Little Sister) out. Funny since we seem to have some very nice Terrapin trolls here this evening.

Heh.
Yeah, I noticed. Where are the admins - this guy needs to be zotted. :)
I found Mandel's column interesting. It will be interesting to see who is right tomorrow - lunardi or Mandel.
I hope mandel -then again, maybe lunardi will have a change in heart. :)

Wanna place bets on how many trolls we get on here this evening. I bet it's a Maryland frat. And their lucky really funny guys. I've counted three so far and I bet we can get more.

somthing like that. I am guessing an acc forum which feels threatened. Very threatened. I believe this is a good sign for tomorrow. If they didnt feel so threatented, they wouldnt be posting here.
In all seriousness - I didnt think CU would have a chance (imo, they are 6 on the pecking order) - so this is truly fascinating. I hope Florida beats the SC tomorrow to put us all at rest. That would definitely put everyone at ease.

Mandel has now posted his FINAL NCAA PROJECTIONS. He still has the Valley with SIX BIDS!!!
However, CU is the last team in and he says if SC wins the SEC tomorrow then they knock CU out.

This dude has some Cajones putting CU in. I still have my doubts about the MVC getting 6 in. I think it would be great. But I'm still guessing 4 with a good chance of 5 now. Hopefully I'm dead wrong. I also like that he has us in an 8-9 that would play Memphis instead of the 8-9 that would play Uconn. I think SIU would have a good chance of beating both Arkansas and Memphis.

Also I really think that CU would be a good 12-5 over Michigan State. State is so very much over rated.

I agree - he has some cajones.. But he is putting the TEAMS in, not conferences it looks like.
Lets hope Florida wipes the floor with SC. That will put everyone's mind to rest.

The Selection Committee puts teams in, not conferences. That is the way it is supposed to be done. His bracket seems to assume a Florida win today. It is a reasonable assumption.

unfortunately, south carolina has had florida's number this year, winning twice. those were sc's only two victories of note until the sec tournament.

The third time is the charm for Florida.
