Under what settings did you simulate the tournament? I ask because you seemed to have gotten reasonable stats and scores instead of getting the occasional offensive shootout.

I have this game, as cool as it was for you to run this simulation, its a completely inaccurate way to look at anything. I don't think the makers of 2k7 took any consideration into defensive stats, etc. etc. Of course SIU is gonna get beat if the game doesn't account for that kind of stuff. You know this game is bogus when you can use SIU and run the score close up to 100.

I guess Illinois State must suck on that game? and Indiana State must be really good.

It's a day before the tournament, he said he was bored and ran the thing. I don't see anywhere in his post where he claimed that this was how the tournament would actually end up. I thought the scores and stats were interesting. Lets not be so obsessed with your beloved Salukis that you now feel the need to run smack at PS2. EVERYONE knows it's just a video game.

By the way, that scenario has no credibility! If Drake would have won, (my darkhorse to win) I might think differently.

I know he wasn't claiming this was how the tourney would play out. It's cool. I was just pointing out the flaws in the game it self. A game I own on my xbox, that's all.

I just thought it was kind of funny. I'm stuck in Huskerland, and Husker freaks will play out the Husker season and make bold predictions based on how the stupid video game played out. You sounded like Husker fan for a moment. By the way, when do you leave for St. Louis?

saturday morning. praying SIU wins on friday so I can actually see them play. We are going no matter what for the session, but it would be nice to see my team play.

I'm hoping Evansville and Drake play 4 over times, and Ajay Calvin or Matt Webster break their ankles.

It is the opinion of College Hoops 2K7 that this is how the tournament would go. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, remember?

How many times over do you want UE and Drake to play again? ..:original:

double dribble was the best. remember the spot behind the three point line, where, if you stood in that spot, and shot, you COULDN'T miss?!?!? I scored like 130 or so one game! Of course, I rule at DD. And, you are not me... YEAH!

Illinois St over Indiana St (10 times this happened)

SIU over Drake (8 times this happened)
UNI over Bradley (9 times this happened)
Creighton over Illinois St (8 times this happened)
Wichita St over Missouri St (10 times this happened)

UNI over SIU (7 times this happened)
Creighton over Wichita St (6 times this happened)

UNI over Creighton (5 times this happened)

I think I still have the old Attari laying around. I could hook it back up and run the game on that. You know, the one where the baskets are square and the stick guys can move up, down left or right? I might just have to bust out a little pong action after that.

Ahhh, the Atari 2600. What memories  The sport games had graphics that were so ridiculously bad, but everytime I see or hear about the Atari 2600 it brings back great memories. A little Combat anyone?

That system should be used for seeding tiebreakers.

Just hook up the 360 and simulate a game between the two teams, winner gets the higher seed.

I did this as well and had SIU over WSU in the championship.

I also took it a step further and took Lunardi's bracket and just entered it in for the whole NCAA tourny. FF was Pitt, Marist, UNC and Louisville, lol. And Marist advanced to the championship as well, only to have their dreams of winning it all get shattered by Pitt.
