In my book.
They will finish over .500 against D-1 opponents.
Way to go Drake!:bulldogs: :valley:
p.s. that illinois state game sucked. I can't get over that. I wanted ISU to win.

Most definitely want to give a shout out to congratulate Bulldog Nation on a fine year. DU won an in-season tourney, beat both Iowa and Iowa St., knocked off their Valley instate rival UNI, and then won a game in the post-season Arch Madness. Racking up 17 wins along the way...very cool!
CONGRATS DRAKE BULLDOGS!! :bulldogs:

And now the big question: Are they NIT bound?

Drake won 2 in-season tourneys, but who's counting? And I'd be shocked if Drake made the NIT.

Drake literally has 0 chance of making the NIT. WSU likely won't even make it

NO Chance.
I wouldn't say NO CHANCE.
First of all, they have a record over .500, so they qualify for consideration. If they were under .500, they would have NO CHANCE.
You never know ... Drake has a lot going for it ... doing things this season that it hasn't done in decades (you guys know the list). Plus, they have an long-time, veteran, well-respected coach who has turned the program around.
Drake getting into the NIT would be a great sentimental story ... and who says that sentiment is not a consideration for inclusion into the NIT (along with the other obvious factors).
