In other news, Butler barely squeaks by Loyola (IL) by 1 point in OT.

The bubble was about to burst for one team there.

It's a shame about Appalachian State though. They really had a great season.

However, did you just hear that Davidson is the second youngest team in the country?? Wow, imagine them next year. McKillop is really building a strong program there.

Congrats to Davidson! I almost feel like they're an honorary Valley team this year with their frequent poster. As long as they're not playing against a Valley team, I'll be cheering for them as if they are on in the tournament!

Haha, thanks guys. Yeah, I sweated that one out. Great game, but the CofC/ASU semifinal was pretty good as well. Is there a chance that a Valley team will get a 5 or 6 seed?

McKillop has always been a class act. He had a team in '02 that should have beat Ohio State in the tournament, and his team didn't shoot well this afternoon. They are a much better shooting team then they showed. I sure hope they get matched up with a team like Virginia Tech, because McKillop is due for an NCAA tournament win.
