So who was feeling ill when they left work today setting up the call off tomorrow and or friday? I for one do not have to worry about it as we have both thursday and friday off since the people in charge realize that no one will get any work done anyway.

I started feeling ill about fifteen minutes ago. What do you think that means?

As a stay at home dad, I can say without a doubt that these are the two greatest days of the year.

I'm actually feeling pretty good. The Bears can throw this disaster of a season away, and move on to more important things, like the firing of one Mr. Barry Hinson.

I'd bet heavily that such a firing won't happen. I don't think there's enough testicular fortitude in the MSU administration to handle the controversy. They'll do nothing, say nothing, announce nothing for a week or two... and then quietly roll over his contract around May or so.

EDIT: Back on topic... the best vacation I ever took was in 2003, when I spent this weekend wallowing in the glory of Las Vegas' finest sports books.

I agree completely with you about Vegas this weekend. I was there last year and it was GREAT. It was crazy we tried to get into the ESPN Zone at New York New York where we stayed and at 8:00 am there was already a 4 hour wait. That and standing Sunday at the sportsbook in MGM with a group of Pitt fans yelling at me as i rooted for Bradley the entire game. The look on their faces when they lost was great, they were good sports and did buy me shot.

Im starting to feel a little sick... I really don't think attending class tomorrow will be very productive, and the possibility of getting other people sick, well that's just horrible...:innocent:

I never bring my laptop to class. I wonder if trying to get by with laptop AND headphones will be too suspicious today?

I will be throwing up at about midnight tonight, followed immediately by an e-mail to my professors, and it will be cured by about 12:30 tonight. However, it still may be contagious, so instead of going to class tomorrow, I will be going to a sports bar (the same one as Creighton-Florida 2002 for some good mojo).

I wish...

Quick riddle: What has 2 thumbs and actually gets sick for 2 days after Selection Sunday, making any additional callouts during the week relatively impossible?

I'm riddled with the madness so I stayed home.
Called in for tomorrow, too.
