Fellas couldn't help but think about the conversations here while dismantling Stanford. There is NO way you can convince me that Stanford belonged in the NCAA. They acted like they had never seen pressure on the ball, block outs, lane penetration, what a freaking joke. How much better would it have been to have an MVC team or any mid-major that was deserving. heck I would argue that Syracuse was light years ahead of these dogs. I'm a little upset about this.
Of course love a 1 vs 16 type game, but that is not the tradition of the NCAA.

If you didnt see the game, we were up by 33 early in the 2nd, could have been 53 if we wanted. Pitino emptied the bench, we won by 20. Nice to feel good for a day or two, I KNOW the next game will not be like this.

Somehow I feel disappointed, I wanted to see good basketball and didnt.

Stanford was probably the worst at-large pick.
That was obvious Sunday night, and even more so today.

Exactly why the tourney shouldn't be expanded. When you start letting in these BCS teams that are 20-12, 18-12, etc., they usually are one-and-done anyway. Teams like Stanford and Seton Hall last year should be obvious reasons why the committee should stop taking 7th or 8th place teams from "power conferences".

Stanford is a Pac 10 team, that's not a power conference lol

(I crack myself up)

Yea, they may have been embarrassed but the PAC 10 will still pick up the check from the NCAA and confirms the overiding message from this years selection committee.
The message is simple - Make sure the jack gets to the Big Boys Club for Special Members - or BCS for short. :original:

Well, I bet Air Force is pissed after crushing Stanford by 35 in Palo Alto and then being one of the last teams snubbed by the committee. I suspect they might have fared better than the Cardinal.

Let's throw George Washington in there as well. Why in the world did Xavier have to lose the tournament in that crappy conference? And how in the world did this team get an 11 seed? They're the worst team in the tourney so far.

Santa Clara beat Stanford by 16 @ Stanford and that is the same Santa Clara team we beat by 27
