Sure it probably won't happen, but the president of Mo State used to be the provost of Kentucky...so I say fire Hinson, fire Smith, hire Smith for the Bears. Sure, we'd probably have to pay him a little more than 128K, but it's nice to dream.

If you see him again, relay a message for me....
Tell him there was a REAL home team in Rupp today lol
Tubby's a good man, you could do much worse. Anyone that can stay at UK that long is special, the fans are insane. They love their coach so much the coach leaves.

I bet you $1000 their fans arent whining to keep him around because he can win 20 games and runs a good program. If Tubby can be on the hot seat, Barry sure heck can too...They get to the Dance and fans want Championships. We get to the NIT and want the Dance. Is there really that much of a difference? I think not.
Fire Barry!

The real beef with Tubby is failure to win the NCAA or even come close since his first year 1998. The beef is that he won the first time with Pitinos players. No recruit signed by Tubby has played in a final four. He's a great coach and highly desirable to anyone else.
UK fans wanted to get rid of Rupp at the end, even had bumper stickers made that said "Rupp must go". Hall took over for him, won a title in '78 and he was forced out. Sutton was forced out. Pitino took grief when they lost in the $EC tourney the year he won it all '96. So now it's Tubby's turn. It's amazing he's lasted so long.
