Congrats and way to represent Salukis! It's a damn shame that the "committee" (almost sounds like a dirty word or mafia?) matched these two teams. The defensive display by both teams last night leaves little doubt in my feeble mind that both teams would have advanced to the next round by beating any of the media-hyped "big boys" they might have played rather than one having to eliminate the other.

Good luck against Virginia Tech and sorry it isn't Weber's bunch that you play next but the dreaded Illini couldn't finish & once again avoided an MVC matchup.

SIU beat VT once already this year. The big question is....will GodShawGod be able to play? Boyle did a great job filling in for the second half against HC, but I don't know if he can stay out of foul trouble two games in a row.

I know high ankle sprains in my playing days sat me out close to almost a week. I hope he can play.

I agree it's a shame they had to match HC up against SIU! It would have been great to see Nevada and HC matched up against some "BCS" teams and then let Creighton and SIU go at it against some as well. All four teams were capable of making a run and had to play very tough opponents in the first round that don't get the recognition.
