Your recruit Jordan Printy for next year said some nice things about your program a few days ago in the CR Gazette.

But, more importantly, Jordan was the star in winning the Class 4A (Iowa's largest division) State Championship for Linn-Mar High School in Marion (this is their 2 title in four years, their four year record is 95-9). He also looks to gain the most prestigous high school basketball honor in Iowa, Mr. Basketball.

You guys got yourself a good player. After watching him bomb some amazing threes and his ability to drive to the basket in tonight's game, with some training he will be a great player for Indiana State!

Thanks for the info and your insight. How about Class 3A Waverly-Shell Rock and Clayton Vette?

They won the state championship as well. Vette had a very good tournament.

BTW, both were named 1st team all-state in their respective classes.

UNI signee Brett Barz was also named 1st team all-state in 4-A

CU signee Kaleb Korver was named 2nd team all-state in 3-A

It's going to be really interesting to see how Vette responds to playing competition that is at his level. He has some fairly sloppy feet and relies way too much on his height... (much like our freshman Jordan Eglseder)

But, he was named the Most Outstanding Player of the entire tournament....

Word I get is that right after his game, Vette was seen at a sushi bar in Omaha with Pete Newell, who was feeding him sushi if he would move his feet in the correct manner!

Nice to see a kid working so hard before he even gets here...

More interesting will be how many commits ask for a release from their LOI from these three schools that fired their coaches.

CU is out of scholarships, so I doubt if Altman would be after any of them.

Actually we have 1 scholarship left to give (maybe 2, depending what happens with Nengsu). And if you think Dana Altman would be "poaching" another team's recruits, you obviously do not know him and I can not take you seriously. We will be looking for a JUCO pg or big.
