It's been no secret that Larry Bird has distanced himself from the university after the search committee that hired Locke totaly ignored him and his input. Larry has been around a little, but nowhere near what Sycamore fans hope. Well, Tuesday night (I think) McKenna and Lansing were siting in the box with Bird at the Pacers' game. To me this is a good sign. One that I thought possible when State hired McKenna. I am sure that the two have a relationship of some sort with each other. I mean they played against each other in the Valley and the NBA. I am just hoping that this is a sign of things to come! You should see the Hulman Center when Bird does return!
 Come on back Larry and the first round at the Rafters is on me!

That is good news. I always wondered why he did not come around more often. I also thought he had a lot of input on hiring Sherm though?:sycamores:
