Any relation to Anthony Michael Hall?

Sounds like a good player from a good team!

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the kid's name.

I'm not worried about the meager stats, as he comes from a very good juco team, with several other D-1 players on the team. The guy who runs jucojunction.com said he's a very good athlete with a huge upside. Good athletes are a necessity in the Davis system.

Here's a picture of him.

Was that before or after he tore his ACL and his MCL and ruptured his Achilles?

This guy sounds like he was a bigtime talent in high school, but disciplinary problems scared off a lot of colleges. He spent a lot of time in trouble, and was finally sent to an all-Saturday detention after shooting a flare gun in his locker. There, he wrote a flippant letter to the principal on behalf of his fellow students also stuck in detention. Although he learned an important lesson about challenging preconceived notions, no college would touch him after that incident, forcing him to go JUCO.

Wait, I'm mixing my Michael Halls.

John Michael Hall has a strong Christian background, and has been on several missions. I'm not sure what to expect from him on the court, but he should be a model student off the court.

Congrats Drake... he looks like a good one to me. By the way, meager stats don't always tell the true story in Juco ball... nothing against Juco's, but assists and defense are not always a priority.

welcome aboard Hall! We need ball players with multiple skills and this guy has those skills. Great 2 or 3 for the Keno system.

His dad was his high school coach, so he probably understands the game.

I'm more worried about the broken finger on his shooting hand.

Seriously, he broke a finger on his shooting hand at the end of the season. Hopefully that doesn't affect his play at Drake.

Good thing they got the mini trampoline out of the way before taking the picture...that would have looked silly.

I'm sorry, but I found this line pretty amusing. Its sounds like something you hear on one of those "Learn how to gamble" shows that run nonstop on hotel TVs in Vegas.

BulldogBacker died of a serious case of bad coaching and obnoxiousness.

How is Drake coming along with other signings? I heard they were high on a guy named Howie Feltersnatch.
