Any chance that the committee intentionally put in low-attendance teams to force some higher-attendance teams (CU, Cinn, MSU) to boost NIT numbers and revenue?

That question was raised regarding CU a week ago on the bluejay message board and summarily dismissed. I don't dismiss it so quickly. I won't argue with CU not getting in, because we dropped a couple of games we had no business dropping, but I do not put it past the NCAA to look at potential revenue for NIT games in deciding the last few in or out. Don't have time to look at the attendance totals to see if there is a correlation, however.
