Florida State trying to make a case for the tourney, down by 3 to Duke with 6 minutes left.


Edit: McRoberts fouled out and Sheldon Williams with 4.

Tremendously big bubble game.

The only time I'll probably ever say it, but root strongly for Duke in this one.

A&M wins, thats 2 teams in the next four out that beat a top 10 team

Well that pretty much sucks. Pity that Texas A & M is making a case to go when they really aren't that good. Look at the overall body of work, and one big win does not a season make, but since it happened now as opposed to early January, it's probably enough to get the selection committee to take more than the Big 12 would have deserved had Texas won. On the other hand, credit to the Aggies for a big win. Did Texas hurt its seed with this loss? I think so.

I'm not too concerned yet. Likely A&M was just stealing the bid Colorado was going to steal anyway (they're taking 4 from the Big 12 anyway).

FSU, on the other hand, may be stealing a bid. My gut tells me it's from another bigger conference.

Three teams? Oh please. The only teams that are panicking right now are SIU and Bradley, and they'll put themselves right back in with a win or two. None of that stuff changes WSU, MSU, CU, and probably UNI in the tourney.

Also, Texas A&M now shows an RPI of 53, and Free Shoes is 58. Neither is "in" by any stretch. Both have road conference games left, and they'd be right out again with a loss.

You are right stop overreacting. One late season win does not make up for bad losses!!

only if your a mid major...remember they beat DUKE...only the second team to do that...2 is below 64...somehow they will now find themslves in the top 64...dont like to say it...but if they play respectable down the stretch they will be in...:mad:

Define "respectable". They have a tough road game left at Miami (classic trap game), and then the ACC tournament. They could easily go 0-2 or 1-2 in that stretch.

I was surprised they didn't get multiple T's...one for the rushing, then the delay of game, etc. There will be some bigtime discussions tomorrow between the ACC and FSU. There is no way that FSU could have enough security to stop those students. They were coming from everywhere-even leapfrogging the scorers table. Coach K was smart to get his players out of there. That was very un-safe what happened. Unfortunately at Redbird Arena, many security workers couldn't stop a big group of fans rushing the court. There are some big, strong security guys, but other workers...yikes...

I doubt that any security staff in the Valley would be able to stop that type of a rush. Did you see how fast that court ended up being filled? I would just be happy to learn that no one was seriously injured. Same goes for Texas A & M when they beat UT.

Four teams will go from the valley!!!!!!!!!!! A fifth would be sweet, but I believe BU and SIU need to win outright !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

that is probaly the most hilarious thing I have ever seen. Of Course I wouldn't doubt that they would put him in every commercial if they could.

As if anyone needed any more reasons to hate Duke they go and screw it up and lose to Florida State. What the hell.
