Bradley picked up a commit from Eddren McCain, a 5'11 point guard from Laplace, Louisiana which is a suberb of New Orleans. McCain was originally from Houston, and led his school to it's 3rd straight state title in Louisiana's smallest class. He averaged 21.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.3 steals his junior year. Here's the full article this morning:

Congrats.
Not too many Cajuns in the MVC over the years - can't remember any on the Jays.
Hopefully, he can cook and expose the team to the wonders of jambalaya and etouffee. I love that cajun cooking!!
Bradley's last Louisiana recruits were the cousin combo of Danny Granger and Mike Suggs. A couple of Molinary's last recruits.

I hope these recruits turn out to be good. I would love to see Bradley and WSU back in the Sweet 16 together.

He is actually a Houston, TX native, which is where new BU assistant Alvin Brooks III discovered him. He was playing on the same Houston Select team as current BU freshman Anthony Thompson. He transferred to his current high school a few years ago so he could play on a national level. His high school currently travels the country and plays 50-60 games a year. Last year they played in a tournament in Oregon featuring prized Duke recruit Kyle Singler and prized UCLA recruit Kevin Love. Academically, he has a 3.5 GPA and will be taking the SAT this fall, so hopefully qualifying will not be an issue. He was at one time ranked among the top 100 (and even top 50 in some circles) sophomores in the country, but has seemingly fallen off the radar after transferring to his small school in Louisiana. Sounds like a solid backcourt score for Jim Les, and further cements that the guard-oriented attack is here to stay.
