So here I am, the typical 14 year old, not exactly a fan of reading. Well, whaddya know, book report for school.
The requirements:
Must be 200 pages or more
Must be non-fiction
Must be about a history changing event.
I decided to pick up Glory Road by Don Haskins, his book about his 1966 Texas Western (now UTEP) team that was the first to start 5 black players and win the National Championship.
Don't walk to the store and buy this book. Run to the store and buy this book.
Let me just say that I've never read a book that was so good that I just couldn't stop reading. I stayed up until 4:00 reading this book one night. No suggestions. Pick this book up.
