Best of luck to Grant Stout. He was a special player. Hope he comes through this well.
Grant was supposed to play in a European league. They had him take an extensive physical and this problem came out. Kyle Wilson was looking forward to having Grant as a teamate.

What is it with all of these heart problems. A four hour surgery is pretty severe.

Man.............I hope he can get through this with no setbacks. Stout was one of my favorite Valley players in recent years. Very good all around player and really worked hard to improve each season.
Even though he always tore my team up, you couldn't help but respect the way he played. I hope he can make a full recovery.

He was also one of my favorite Valley players... I wish him a speedy recovery.
I'm just glad it was diagnosed. I hope he plays again, but more importantly he gets his health restored.

Mc Bulldog sends best wishes and a speedy recovery for Mr Stout. I'll bet he watches the UNI @ DU football game Sat. on the TV.

sounds promising... hopefully a speedy recovery for Grant.
It is really nice that both coaches visited him at the same time. Going to Europe to play basketball probably saved his life.
Best wishes to one of my favorite Saluki adversaries.

Hoping Grant has a full and speedy recovery as well. He was probably my favorite non-Saluki in the Valley. Best wishes to him and his family.
