I don't want to offend anybody by starting a new thread, but after a quick search, I didn't find a thread on SIU's version of Midnight Madness on ESPNU this Friday. I believe 3 other teams will have theirs televised as well: Davidson, Georgetown, and Memphis.

I bought my tickets for the SIU-CU game in Carbondale today. Was surprised that they were still available this afternoon with the alleged appearance of Digger etal in Carbsondale that weekend. Should be fun. :jays:

You should encourage any other Creighton fans wanting to make the rek to get their tickets now, because the game will sell out a lot earlier than in the past. The Indiana game is already sold out and the CU game will be next I am sure.

I dont know if this is being discussed in another thread but I just wanted to say that I was impressed with how SIU looked. If Shaw and Mullins can shoot like they did they may be very hard to beat. Why would Falker be in the dunk contest if he has a tweaked ankle?

I think Mullins is going to surprise a lot of people in the MVC with his shooting and scoring ability this year. We really need him to use his offensive skills this year.

You can tell next to nothing from a madness practice. Additionally, I didn't think SIU looked very impressive in the brief scrimmage. Nor were Brandon Wood, Tony Boyle or Chris Cornelius healthy enough to practice.

Mullins has improved his shooting, but he will see top defenders, bigger, faster guys on him all season long.

SIU will be as good as Joshua Bone, Wesley Clemmons and Brandon Wood are. And that isn't fair to Wood as a true frosh, but Cornelius is not going to be healthy enough to assist much, if at all, in the back court.
