Nice job. Keeping UIC under control now. Bradley game must just have been an off game.

But they are consistent. Consistently bad in the first half. Consistently great in the second half. Just wondering.

It's true. We have struggled in the first half of games overall. But we have been a better team after halftime and a few times, like tonight, we were just explosive in the 2nd half. That is very refreshing to Redbird fans as the last few years we were not a good 2nd half team. Whether the in-game adjustments have been good, or the halftime speeches lit a fire under the players' rear ends, or both...who knows. This game was a rout tonight, but it was all in the 2nd half. There is a lot of talent on this team and we could be dangerous if we can put a full 40 mins together. Nevertheless, with regard to this particular game it was good to give UIC a thumpin'. We have had series' with them off & on for many years and they always play us tough. To really whip them for once feels good...and they are a pretty solid team.

Do you RedBird fans mind if I jump off the Aces and root for you guys this year?

The thing is that the players and Jankovic say that nothing really happens at halftime they just refocus at halftime. I think I've heard this from Dom, Jankovic, Dinma, and Slack.
Slack played his first below average game last night, but the good news is that it seems Levi has found his place in the offense for the first time this year. Until this game he would get a few shots but would not ever have the ball in a scoring position, it's real good to see.

Always plenty of room on the bandwagon. Just stay on when things go bad. I think a lot of people and teams assume that this is the same ISU team from last year and the year before that looked good in non-conf. but stunk up the joint once MVC play began.
You'd be amazed at what coaching and confidence can do for a team. It's going to be a fun season. But hang in there with your Aces. We've been there, so I feel your pain.:redbirds::aces::valley:

That first game of the year will continue to haunt Bradley. It was a bad loss then, it's a bad loss now and it will be a bad loss at the end of the year in case BU is in the running for an at large bid.

It won't be a bad loss if UIC has a decent season and wins some games in the Horizon. They are not a bad team.
