Thought I'd start a thread since there isn't one. Bradley up 22-15 in the first half.

In case anyone cares, Bradley won 90-72. I think Crouch ended the night with 25 points. At one point he was 7-9 from 3 point land.

Way to make it happen. Crouch is hot and cold, eh?

Yeah, Crouch has been unbelievable the last 2 games. Tonight he was 7-9 from 3, 25 points. Last Wednesday he was 5-7 from 3 in the game, 21 points. Can you say player of the week? Definitely should be in the running for sure.
He did have a cold stretch there through the South Padre Tourney (3-10, 4-11, 3-7, 3-9). Not terrible, but not the normal Crouch either. He was also 0-4 against Iowa State. He did have a great game to start the year though going 5-7 against UIC.
He was only shooting 37.5% going into this week's games for the year. He's now up to 46.875% on the year. Let's hope he comes out hot Tuesday night against Michigan State.
Solid game by the Braves. The effort was there from the tip. The game was never in doubt.
A couple of the other guys are going to have to step up on Tuesday for them to have a chance against Michigan State.

Good win Braves. Now go give a good effort against Sparty.

Looks like it's up to BU to get the conference's marquee non-conference win, since SIU has failed miserably in their 2 attempts, on national TV no less.

Playing SEMO gives us a lot of confidence that you'll do that.

He's not an SIU fan. I'll give you a clue...the team he's a fan of is leading the conference in scoring and has the 2 top scorers in the conference....and scored 51 points yesterday, in the first half.

Where did I ever brag about beating SEMO? We have one of the last chances to salvage a marquee win for this conference. Your team had 2 great chances, and looked very bad in both of them.

Oh. So SEMO is worse than UCSD, Cornell College, and NC Central? Please. Good luck staying out of Thursday.

Boy...you are reaching for stuff if you are going back to THAT thing more than two years ago. Sheesh.
Bottom line---the league hasn't had any marquee non-con wins so far. SIU had a couple chances and looked awful--no doubt. Bradley has a couple opportunities coming up.
The league just isnt that good this year.

I just assume programs and coaches that cheat, continue to cheat.

cheat? you give SIU fans a bad name. being slightly overpaid, then turning yourself in when the error is caught is far from some major payola cheating scam. get a life. just cause your dawgs embarrassed themselves on national tv twice doesn't mean you have to be so negative towards everybody else.
I'm gonna laugh when SIU finishes below Creighton, Bradley, Missouri state, and ISU red this year.

You are certainly free to assume what you wish. Again though, if that's all you got you might wanna go back to the well to get something fresh.

Then you admit that there's logic in my statement that makes sense. How else do you think Les is recruiting? They certainly don't go to Bradley to get good coaching.

God Bless Drake...but is there anything more comical than a Drake basketball fan trash talking? Of course, then a random, nonsensical political jab--original.

I think if you check the Drake's record for the past four years against Bradley, you'd find that Drake won 5 to Bradley's three. So a little less of a patronizing tone might be good karma.
